Grace Episcopal Church
Annual Meeting 2011
Sunday, November 13
Guild Hall
Following the 10 a.m. service
The Annual Meeting is a time to come together as an entire congregation to celebrate the blessings of the past year and plan for the joys and challenges to greet us in the next.
Mary Ann Cook has been nominated for Senior Warden, Bruce Croushore for Junior Warden and Hazel Holden, Stephen Rhody, Ginny Shannon and John Wood for Vestry. Three nominees are still needed to represent Grace at next year's Diocesan Convention. The convention will be held at the Middleton Marriott - the closest this event has been to us in a long while, so attending should be a pleasure. Judy Rose has agreed to be a nominee and Stan Henning has agreed to stand as an alternate.
Nominations for all positions will also be accepted from the floor the day of the meeting.
Absentee ballots for members eligible to vote will be available beginning Sunday, October 30. You may receive one via request by mail to the church office or by signing the request sheet available at the back of the Nave. We will then mail a ballot to you. Absentee ballots must be returned to the church by Thursday, November 10th. (The church office does not receive mail on Fridays and Saturdays.)
And don't forget the best part of the meeting - LUNCH!
The Annual Meeting will conclude with a lunch catered by Underground Food Collective featuring local pork in a sandwich and a seasonal vegetable salad. Suggested contribution for the lunch is $6. We'll have some snacks for small children.
