Welcome Carol Lee Iverson |
|
|
Carol Lee recently retired as organist at Good
Shepherd Lutheran Church (ELCA) on Raymond Road -
one of the largest Lutheran congregations in Dane
County. She has also served as organist for
Madison's Festival Choir - and Carol Lee was among
the musicians asked to help showcase the organ here
at Grace Church in the course of dedication recitals
for the instrument in 1988.
Carol Lee will take part in choir rehearsals
Thursday evenings and play at both liturgies on
Sundays. As a bonus - her husband Tom has indicated
a preliminary interest in joining the choir!

Book Group meets this
Thursday
Our Grace Book Group next discusses
Mao's Last Dancer by Li Cunxin and will
meet Thurs. Jan. 10, 7 p.m., at the (new!)
home of Mary Ann & Frank Cook, 4477 Crescent
Rd. in Fitchburg, phone 238-6974.
From rural poverty in China to the
Houston, Texas ballet and beyond, Cunxin has
lived an unusual life, one transformed both
by the changes in U.S.-China relations and
his own responses to challenges and
opportunities.
Please join other Grace readers on a winter
evening early in the new year for discussion
and fellowship. This may well be the
first official Grace Church event hosted by
the Cooks in their new home!
