Postponed: Forgiveness Workshops with Dr. Gayle Reed

Our 3-part Forgiveness Program, which were scheduled to begin with a sermon this coming Sunday, February 17, will be indefinitely delayed due to the fact that our leader, Gayle Reed, has experienced some unforeseen health problems. It is possible Gayle may resume her workshops some time after Easter but for now we ask that you keep Gayle in your prayers.

"No other foundation: inhabiting the stories of scripture"
This week's bible study, lead by Bishop Miller, was well-attended and included a wonder meal provided by our friends at Good Shepherd. The Bishop's study focuses on the different Passion narratives found in the Gospels and there are two evenings remaining: Feb. 20 and Feb. 27 (Wednesdays). Join us for a Eucharist at 5:15pm, dinner at 6pm, and study/discussion starting at 6:45pm.

Please note that several communications last week mistakenly listed the Eucharist as starting at 5:45pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused for those who attended this Wednesday.

Our Neighbors Need Your Help
100 days of grace  At the YWCA there is a section called Third Street housing mothers and infants to 5 years.  Another area shelters homeless families.  A third has the capability to house 100  single women.
Grace is coordinating a special donations drive, and asking you to add a few items to your shopping list during Lent. A list of requested items will be included in the bulletin for the next few weeks and can also be found at the link below.
Donations may be left in the labeled bin at the back of the church or near the office in the reception area.

9-YEAR-OLD BESTS RECTOR AND VESTRYMAN IN PANCAKE RACE FINALS!

Clare Johnson, age 9, beat finalists Patrick Raymond, Michael Covey and Emma Schaefer in the Shrove Tuesday pancake race competition. Congratulations to all 4 of them for winning their respective heats. More than 60 intrepid supporters braved wintry weather to enjoy the meal, cheer the racers (from preschool through senior citizen) and contribute $180 to the Haiti Project fund. Special thanks to Sarah Watts, Brit-extrordinaire, and Kenn JeSchonek for once again organizing an efficient kitchen operation.
