Holy Week/Easter

Flowers

Easter Flowers
This week you should have received an Easter letter from Rev. Patrick Raymond in the mail. The letter includes an envelope and card which can be used to make a number of contributions. If you would like to make a donation for Easter flowers, please indicate this on the card and write 'Easter flowers' in the memo of your check. You may use the back of the card to PRINT a celebration or dedication you would like included in the Holy Week bulletins. Envelopes may be dropped in the offering plate or mailed to Grace Church. The suggested donation this year is $40 but ANY amount is welcome!

Altar Flowers
We are also in need of normal Altar Flower donations for Sunday, April 6th and 27th. Please contact Linda Savage or Kristin Matuszak if you are interested in making a donation.

This Sunday at Grace. . .

**Don't forget to set your clocks ahead Saturday night for daylight savings time **

The final Vestry-led discussion session will be this Sunday, after both services. The topic will be 'A new Website for Grace Church', led by Benjamin Farrow. Ben will explain why the Vestry is considering website redevelopment (again) and our aims in doing so. Our main goal is to hear parishioner's hopes, concerns, and questions before proceeding.

Also, a reminder that our Healing Prayer Team will be available in the Chapel during communion at the 10am service.

Please note that next Sunday Madison Metro buses will detour to the Capitol Loop from the start of service through 3 PM due to the St. Patrick's Day parade on the square.

To all the dear faithful people of Grace who prayed and wept with us; who called and comforted us; who baked and made the coffee and set the tables for the reception; who came to greet us, embrace us, worship and sing with us at the celebration of Bill's life, thanks beyond measure from all of us.  We are blessed in your friendship.

Not Simply Simon:  Meditations on St. Peter

Written by retired Suffragan Bishop The Rt. Rev. William Wiedrich (during his time here at Grace), there are copies available in the church reception office for anyone who wants to read with us.  Not a long book, and available at a great price (free!) -- join us for discussion and fellowship.
We will meet at the home of Elizabeth Steinhoff (note the location change) Tuesday, March 11, at 7pm.

Picnic for Bibles? Save those Tickets!
Many thanks to all of you who purchased tickets for last week's Brunch for Bibles. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not cooperate with us and we were forced to cancel the event. The Youth Group is looking into a picnic-like event later this spring. Those who purchased tickets for last Sunday's brunch will automatically be on the list for the new event.
